Whats Our Mission
Honduras is one of the poorest countries in the world with over 48% of the population living in poverty.
At Legacy Honduras we aim to change that.
We build simple clean long lasting structures that provide a safe place for these families to call home.
In Isaiah 58:12 it says “ “Those from among you Shall build the old waste places; You shall raise up the foundations of many generations; And you shall be called the Repairer of the Breach, The Restorer of Streets to Dwell In.”
We believe we are called and uniquely equipped to do this in San Antonio de Cortes, Honduras.

This is what a typical homestead looks like in San Antonio de Cortes. Typically a 10′ x 10′ room will house a family of six. Life is dirty, difficult, and opportunities are limited, but together we can change that.

Jesse founded Legacy Honduras in 2015 to help the people of San Antonio de Cortes in the mountains of Honduras.
Shannon West
Board of Directors / Director of Vision 2020 Worldwide
In 2012 Shannon took his very first mission trip to the country of Thailand and he was forever changed. Since that time he has became the Mission’s Pastor of his Church and has taken part in personally introducing thousands to Jesus Christ as Lord.
Angela Stone
Angela Stone is the director of Mission World Honduras. She facilitates teams from all over the USA to come and serve in Honduras. She has been instrumental in the development of the Ministry.
Doing missions in Honduras has been completely life changing.
